The work includes a fold-out plan of the entire panorama, with a plan of the vicinity of Chattanooga. The plan measures approximately 16" by 16.5".

Panoramas of Civil War battles began to attract massive public interest in 1883 when The Battle of Gettysburg opened in a cyclorama in Chicago. This pamphlet and plan were published for people who visited The Battle of Chattanooga and the Storming of Missionary Ridge in Cleveland in 1886. This pamphlet gives a detailed account of the battles. Item #100933
