1864. July 13, 1864 North Carolina Times CIVIL WAR Newspaper from New Berne, NC. Large single sheet, folded. Appears to have been miscut as the right margin of the front side is trimmed rather close, leading to some loss of word edges. SCARCE. Interesting articles as editorially, the paper supports the Lincoln-Johnson ticket, even though they opposed them in 1860. Interesting piece of Southern Americana history.
