Charleston, South Carolina: Walker, Evans & Cogswell, 1869. 784 pp. Hardcover in original purple cloth with gilt embossed cover. All 12 issues of Volume One, bound together. These can occasionally be found loose as individual issues, but I've never seen all 12 issues of Volume One bound neatly together in this manner. There are LOTS of illustrations throughout, including a Full-Page COLOR plate of "Cotton Insects" as well. A remarkable body of work. Mild foxing/tanning throughout. Not Ex-Lib. Very SCARCE title.
