Salem, North Carolina: Printed by Blum & Son, 1847. 24 pages. Contemporary plain paper wraps, sewn. Unlocated via OCLC. Slight edgewear, several page corners turned, moderately foxed & tanned.

Existing as a separate body from 1820 to 1920, the Evangelical Lutheran Tennessee Synod was characterized by commitment to confessional Lutheranism. The Synod is best known for producing the first English translation of the Book of Concord which was printed by the Henkel Press of New Market, Virginia in 1851. Curiously, the Henkel Press was presumably responsible for all Synod printing but somehow this pamphlet bears the imprint of Blum & Son.
