Binding is sound, although top boards on both volumes are slightly loose. Front board joints are cracked. 1" chip to spine on Vol 2. Interior is foxed. Previous owner's name (Albert Rhett, Grahamville) on ffep in both volumes.

Begins with a brief description of the province of Carolina from 1666, originally printed for Robert Horne, and continues with over thirty additional works from the 17th and 18th centuries.
