Raleigh, North Carolina: Edwards & Broughton, Printers and Binders, 1889. 76 pages. Soft cover bound in tan wrappers. Moderate wear to the binding. The headcap of the spine has a little bit of tearing or chipping. The binding shows some soiling from being handled, but is overall in sound condition. SIGNED at the top corner of the front wrapper, "Comp's of Kemp P. Battle." The text block is sound. The text is a little toned, and there are some sporadic pencil notations or corrections in the text, usually just one word at a time. These may may have been done by Battle himself. A rare 19th Century history of the North Carolina Supreme Court. Housed in a removable plastic sleeve with a board backing. [Thornton 703]. Item #100504
